Purchasing Issues

I’ve had a potential buyer interested in purchasing one of my items. To save time, rather than me explaining it I’ll just copy what the buyer wrote:

hello i want to purchasethis template but with visa electron card, like to buy online as i try to register on moneybookkeepers and i have troubles with verification of what summary they discount from my card. and in our country there is no paypal, so please how can we buy direct through my visa card. I need it urgent, thanks

Any suggestions? And yes I’ve contacted support.

Can’t be helped… He has to set up the account with Moneybookers. Unfortunately the only thing you can do is to encourage him to push through.

Yes as farley design said this is a moneybookers issue, I am not sure Envato can really do much to help him. He needs to get verified on MB first.

Thanks guys. Support are going to contact the buyer themselves. I’ll let you know what the outcome is.

Any issues like that where we have a contract in place with the client and they have problems paying due to location, we just purchase the service and invoice them directly. Might be worth it for the sake of £25 or so?

I’ve had a similar issue (like your customer) with Moneybookers. They deducted some small value of money from my bank account to the unverified Moneybookers account, but when I checked the bank’s online tool, it showed an erraneous value. Then I called my bank and they told me the correct value over the phone. So maybe it’s the similar situation with your customer as well – suggest him to call his bank and get the real value directly from the bank’s support.

P.S. Isn’t he supposed to be able to buy stuff at Envato directly via this card? If he can use it for Moneybookers, he should be able to do direct purchase as well… Hm…?
