Purity theme - slider activation?

Hi – wondering if someone can help me to activate the slider in my theme? I’ve saved the settings within ‘Purity’ on my WP dashboard and have added images to the ‘slider’ option on the dashboard but still it doesn’t appear on my site?

Make sure you have more than one image in your slider. Somtimes you won’t see the slider if you don’t have around at least 3 images

I have 5 images uploaded in the slides folder/option ?

I’m in the same spot. I have 4 images uploaded but the slider section is blank when I pull up the actual site…

Same problem here, have tried various things, checked access permissions etc. Can the Author help ? did anyone get this resolved?? all i have is the loading circle???

same here… as soon as I add a ‘pause time’, the loading circle disappears after a second, and the black dots do appear, fluttering nervously (with a value of 5 or so, if I put 300 they change slower), still no images howsoever … what is the problem here?

// the links, Description, Titles etc I can add in the slider menu in WP do work … but the images do not appear.

what I found out in the meantime, if somebody should have the same issues as I do …

when I use pictures for the slider, that are not on my wordpress space but somewhere in the internet, it does work … still not sure what that means though…

I wish I saw this thread earlier. Must start looking at the ThemeForest’s General forum for support requests regarding my theme I guess.

As for the slider not working properly:

• Make sure that the page you are expecting the slider to appear is using the “Homepage” page template.
• Check if any of the Slider settings in the Theme Option / Slider menu is blank. If yes then please fill them up with these values: http://bit.ly/uEbGH2
• It could also be a jQuery conflict so please try deactivating all of the plugins you’ve got installed and test the slider again. If it works then it means that one of them is breaking the slider script.

And just a little tip for a future: if you ever occur an issue, why not contact the theme author himself?

I have the same problem. My site was working fine then it just stopped. I’ve changed nothing and installed nothing. The slider simply no longer works. I’ve created another site too, using the same theme and that also refuses to work. There are no installed plugins and settings match those suggested by the creator. Its just baffling…
