I’ve noticed that there is no longer an option for putting our photos in the categories listed in the header. Has this been disabled or changed somehow? Are they categorized by admins/inspectors now?

I don’t think it was ever possible to add a photo to a category. The admins move the photo to the right category I supose.

Photos on PhotoDune are organised entirely using tags, and don’t even have categories.

If you photo falls into one of the categories in the header (Animals, Architecture, etc.), just make sure it has the appropriate tag and it will show up there.

That makes perfect sense now. I know in the very beginning we chose a category as the first step in uploading and then I saw recently where everything would go to ‘Misc.’ category.

Thanks for the explanation!
