Hello,

Sometimes people have liked my artwork here and there, I was wondering could you take a look at a couple images, on vector, one sketch and tell me if you think they are worth going through the process of Ul’ing to PhotoDune, or GraphicRiver with? Is the extra work involved in organizing a Vector Eps export worth it instead of just Jpg’ing out images?

VECTOR example:

Pen and Ink (obviously a better scan would happen if I tried to Ul for sales):

Your thoughts, the honest truth you feel.

Thanks, ~Marcus :)

I quite like the hand drawn one, although it could be cleaned up when you digitize it. The lady with harp is quite good but would need to be refined and improved quite a lot. Also why would she be holding a harp and water?? :)

Vectors are sold on Graphic River. Best idea would be to browse the vectors category to get an idea of the standard needed, and what sells. :)

Hey thanks,

I’ll keep an eye out for other responses as well, and tally them all up.

Thanks again, ~Marcus :)

Thanks Cara,

Say could you post a link to who you consider the best on GraphicRiver are? I know the images I presented were created only for personal enjoyment. Maybe if I see what the gold standard is I could push to get to that level.

I look forward to seeing some top examples of quality level to aspire to.

Thanks, ~Marcus :)

Wow that’s a tough one! There are so many!

I guess it depends the category you are aiming for – flyers, graphics etc are pretty high quality a detailed whereas the likes of vectors are not so much graphically amazing but are pixel perfect and tight in design.

The bottom line is attention to detail and refinement.

Slightly off topic we just bought this: http://graphicriver.net/item/wild-night-flyer-template/5196689 its incredibly detailed and amazing use of shadows etc.

One thing is for sure, the actual simple copy paste of my amateur fun Flickr stuff did not have a “mailto” in it and the Flickr page has nothing to do with any commercial offerings. Although not my doing I apologize the mail thing is happening, that does not make sense. The original link string has only your standard http:// and wild generated gibberish with no mention of mail.

Thanks, ~Marcus
