Hi guys,
I was playing a bit with Envato API, but can’t find a way to list the complete portfolio for a specific user.

I’m able to use “new-files-from-user” but only returns last 25 items of a specific marketplace.
Is there a way to get a complete list? Also for single marketplace, but complete.

No, there is no way to do that using API. Even if you try to use search call it still returns max of 50 items. As API’s go, Envato API is pretty bad: gives inconsistent results (items returned from different calls can be without preview image or thumbnail), it has very limited return results (it should have paging parameter in requests that have large results sets), no access to comments (and yet it has access to forum threads), no access to reviews or ratings. API key protected calls should be able to return all user items (by marketplace) at the very least.

Pretty bad on this side. I could understand lack of comment APIs, but author items are a pretty essential stuff..

I doubt that we will see improvements to API any time soon. I think Envato looks at the API as necessary evil and they don’t put any work in to it for quite some time (apart for maintenance).
