Since ive seen that tabahee uploaded 2 HTML -CSS templates, i started making 1 to.
Now i have a few question where i like to get your opinions on, so that we maybe get a standard for viewing and uploading HTML -CSS templates.
Since HTML -CSS are easy to copy when you have a full preview of the working .html page, i need another way to preview my HTML -CSS template. What will work best ?
And what is the best way to document the .html page. Its kinda complex if you never touched html code. So how do you explain how to change images, text, headers, add more menu items, add more pages.?
As i said before maybe we can get a little standard for doing this for HTML -CSS templates
Thanx in advance for helping me out! Steven_B
P.s Flash templates are complex to, maybe someone can give me a example of what you explain and what not, since your not only describing AS but the structure and functionallity to.
No one to help?
Ive read in the second template from tabahee that flashden is preparing something to implent css templates better without the easty copy and paste.
Is this true? And when will this happen?
to be honest i don`t think its a great idea to upload css templates to Flash den. i think its only allowed if you are using quite a bit of flash as well.
That’s a bit if my question to since Tabahee posted a forum thread a while ago, if he was allowed to upload css templates now his first template has some flash in it but his second doesnt.
But Scottwillis said in the comments of the second template from tabahee the following :
” 2. Yes, Flashden is presently accepting CSS /HTML submissions.
3. Flashden is aware of all issues pertaining to the pros and cons of selling CSS /HTML templates via Flashden, and an announcement will be made in due course to address and resolve such issues. Please be patient and stay tuned, it will be exciting news for everyone. “
So Flashden is maybe making a different section? or even a niche site?
Hmmm… I don’t like the idea of CSS /XHTML
FD should be unique for Flash only, although we have video/fonts/audio but CSS /XHTML is a completely different manner
After all, people comes here for Flash and media (Video/Audio/Font), not anything else
True, the reason i came here first place was for flash, the site is even called flashden , doh…
But since flashden is accepting CSS templates lately i think its better there get somethings sorted out first.
The CSS templates even apear in the flash section.
I have a CSS template ready but i will wait till i upload cuz it needs its own place and dont want to mess the flash section…
Maybe someone from flashden can give some reaction?
Yes, Me too RimV
But This will surely attract many, specially CSS Designers as there is no such big sites selling CSS designs.
And a Big Customer base is here, no wonder if FD’s Home page totally occupied with CSS designs soon.

Well as long as templatemonster exists I don’t think there is any other strong enough competitor against them regarding CSS /XHTML template
One of the main concept of FD is cheap price, they could apply for CSS /XHTML as they did with Flash but who knows whats gonna be . In anyway I just feel FD seem to loose their original meaning if they start to deploy CSS
On TemplateMonster you can’t view a real preview of the site… only a screenshot.
