Question about International Transfer (SWIFT)

Hi guys! Someone, who use this option for withdraw your money, please, tell me, what i need to write here – Bank Account Number/IBAN – only my own account number, for example – 33333333333333, or first must be account with institution and then my own number, like this – 55555555/33333333333333.. please, tell me, what you usually do?

IBAN is an acronym, which stands for International Bank Account Number. It is a standard way of uniquely identifying an account for the purpose of improving the efficiency and speed of cross border european union payments.

I find that hard to believe – I would open an account in a new bank.

They said, that IBAN don’t use in Ukraine..All i want to know – in withdraw form i see “Bank Account Number / IBAN ”, does it mean that i can write only my account number or IBAN also required..I don’t believe, that nobody knows about it..Please, don’t keep silence, guys..:)

In that case I think the best you can do is contact support.

Perhaps you could try a different method of withdrawal? There are other options.

If I’m correct, your bank account number can only be used within the country. If there’s a transaction from overseas without the IBAN number they won’t be able to tell where the money’s supposed to go.

Ukraine is amazing country..:)My Moneybookers account was hacked and closed now, Paypal don’t work with Ukraine..I’ve thought about Payoneer, but it seems that i have no possibility to withdraw money in dollars in Ukraine ATM ..

In this case, i think you need something like a SWIFT code in order to get paid, if I’m not wrong.. Bye Paolo

plastic3, just SWIFT code should be enough for most cases. If you don’t have IBAN , enter your local bank account number on that field. I do withdraw just this way and going fine.

For clarifications, call your bank’s customer service and they may provide you all the details such as Intermediary Bank, code etc.
