When I update just the Thumbnail or the Preview Image of an item, the new image appears moments after, so what does the “Submit Files for Review” or “Message to the Reviewer” actually mean when updating these images? Will a reviewer later on validate them, even though it’s already active in the marketplaces?

Imagine I want to update the thumbnails and preview images of 50 items… do I actually have to write a “Message to the Reviewer” on every one stating these simple changes? Sounds counterproductive to me as an author and a potential huge annoyance to a reviewer.

At least for the thumbnail: you can upload and select the new thumbnail and the change is immediate, without having to go through the review process. (I tried this one)

I don’t know about the preview image. Could be the same.

@greenline

Yes, I know this… I’m just wondering if it’s actually necessary to write a “Message to the Reviewer” for these cases. Given that the change is immediate and there seems to be no actual review process for the thumbnail or preview image I don’t want to piss off reviewers by not writing anything, especially if I update dozens of items in a row.

I think it should be fine to leave the field blank. Or perhaps try to add some jokes to the reviewer instead of the plain message? ;)

I typically just write “thumbnail update” just in case. :)

Recently I updated more than 100 thumbnails. The procedure is automated so I don’t write anything to the reviewer. But for preview updates or item update – I always write some words. I had very funny story last week in Photodune. I wanted to update tags of 3 photos. I did updates as I wrote on every image update :” Hello, I added some new tags”. And after a few days I received for all 3 photos rejected emails that the photos can’t be submitted cos I have similar images in my portfolio. But on item pages, in history page i saw > Approved and below the rejected message…..of course the tags were not updated. I thought to write something to the reviewer but I gave up. I guess the reviewer didn’t read the message I wrote for update. Indeed I had no problems with tags updates in Graphicriver.

When I only update the thumbnail I leave the message field blank, it works.

I bought the word press template clubber in march 2013 www.sunshinemusic.net, but I’m having a problem playing the video in the main page. When I click on the videoclips in the main page, it send me to Vimeo page instead to open the little window in the website. But If I click the same clip in the “Video” page on the website (where all the video clip are stored) it works perfectly. I have tried to contact Envato Author and Costumer Service, but with no luck, only an email from Envato said that I have to contact the author for the solution, they can’t help me… !!! The Author don’t aster my email, I’m very upset about Envato service,. Help !!!

Thanks a Lot
