exactly, known games and movies. but not only in live previews where the reviewers may not have control. (the author can change the photos there since the live preview is on his server)
even if those screenshots had been released to be freely used, they have specific license who deny the use as promotional material for a completely unrelated commercial product. Just check the license for those “website theme pack” some game company offer on the official website for a certain game.
You can take a screenshot of a game and use it as a image for your review article online, but you can’t take the same screenshot and create an ad in a printed magazine for some random product you sell. Is the same over here.
And the envato staff knows this and they specifically enforced the copyright rules starting with January this year.
But somewhat I still see recent approved items across marketplace that break this rule.
