I just began using the referral program. in my “earning” page i can see how many clicks the links that I spread on the net generated. But is it possible to see the origin of the clicks?? this would permit me (us) to concentrate on the most rewarding click sources…

thanks!

Unfortunately, no – this has been requested, and hopefully we’ll see it some day :)

Of course, you could use a service like bit.ly or the myriad of others like it to track your clicks – it’s conversions that are currently impossible to trace.

If only there was a possibility to add a customized “thank you” message on the page displayed to the buyer after confirmed purchase, with possibility to use IMG tag like in item description. This would be enough to implement a pixel tracking system for sales.

It still wouldn’t track the referer, but if I’ve got a pixel tracking also on a page that brings the traffic, I can connect these two events in my tracking system.

Following the logic you could just put it on the item page. That wouldn’t track actual sales but you can get the purchase percentage by envato analytics. How many visitors/how many purchases, then when you enable the link this ratio might change.

I really don’t know how somebody would manage to track conversions with the current system :( Clicks yes – with a 3rd party system. But conversions … :(
