Hi, I wondered if I am allowed to use SlideDeck in my themes. If so, what will I need to include? (License or something?)
Your always best actually contacting the plugin author on this than speculating with more people with the same information as you. However, the free lite version says its released under GPL which means it can be used I believe.
I’d still email the author to check though.
Never heard of it before but thanks for bringing it to my attention. Seems like it should be ok to use.
I think you are allowed to use, it is published under GNU General Public License. but m not sure exactly
The GPU site says this:
“Does the GPL allow me to sell copies of the program for money?

And the slidedeck license says the following:
“This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version. This program is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY ; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE . See the GNU General Public License for more details.”
So i think it’s possible….right anyone…. thoughts??!
