Hi everyone,

I have a couple of questions:

1. Is there a limit to the number of projects an author can upload in a single day? For example, if I were to upload 10 or 20 projects tomorrow, would that be against the rules? If so, what is the maximum amount of projects an author can upload in a single day?

2. On a related note, is it against the rules to upload multiple projects that share the same concept, design and technique, given that each one has a different application or purpose? For example, would it be against Envato’s policies to upload an Infographics presentation, a Corporate presentation, a Slideshow and a Logo Ident that all share the same concept, design and technique? Each project would have enough features to stand on its own and distinguish it from the rest of the series.

The reason I’m asking is because I’m working on a corporate presentation that is getting a little out of hand in size, and I’m thinking of breaking it down to a number of different projects.

I couldn’t find any related information in Author Resources. If someone could point me to the article that addresses the above questions, I’d be much obliged.

Cheers

Hi kainxtheory,

there are no limits on daily uploads but bear in mind that only one project will be featured in the homepage if the’re approved the same day, all the other will be visible only in the After Effects project files section.

I think that if

Each project would have enough features to stand on its own and distinguish it from the rest of the series
you shouln’t have any issue.
But this will be evaluated by the reviewer.

I’ve seen some forum theads in the past where authors complaint about two similar projects being rejected but from what I remember all the projects where in the same category. For example an author who has created two logo reveals that were way too similar. I don’t think this will be a problem for you since your items will be placed in different category.

There is no daily limit, but for reasons of personal exposure & better sales, you may want to upload 1 or 2 per day so that you spread it out over time, instead of having them all accepted in one large chunk.

Looking forward to seeing your work!

Hey Vaynah! Really appreciate your kind words. Actually, I’m working on 10 corporate presentations, a little over-whelming but I’m learning a lot from the challenge. I hope they can all exceed your expectations!

Mothinkers and MotionRevolver, thanks for your replies. I think they cover both of my questions!

Cheers

Also keep in mind that no matter how many of your projects got accepted only the last one appears on the front page. Read more here: http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/new-homepage-new-items-system/49104
