The question is actually quite simple. Can you use photos and include them in the template?
Is it allowed if faces show aslong as you took the photo youself?
Even if you took the photo yourself you will need a model release if it contains recognizable place or person.
Some authors who are multi-talented choose to create their own assets for use in their items. Just remember that if the asset contains a recognizable human feature or private property, you’ll need to have a model or location release for your records. You can use photos in your live demo (as long as the photo license allows for it) and just replace them with placeholders in the final download file.
@pogoking man you’re always helping out here in the forums man, that’s an awesome thing to do. Stay that way and Happy Holidays!
thanks for the good answer. Thing is: I cant put a placeholder in the design since it will be a significant part of it. Since it will only be my own hands in the picture it should not be a problem should it?

Mate, search here for photos!
They all have Creative Commons attribution license, so you can use it for demo purposes, but not in actual file in download (there you have to put placeholders). There are thousands of good photos, just search some keyword and then click on “Interesting”.
