Agree but they use our theme for free each time :) Results = Abuse

I opt for refund system.

It is ok for them to make use of the system to get themes. I know some pirate sites giving download links of popular themes. So they will do it anyway.

But real business will buy. They are afraid of being sued if using illegal themes.

We had a 2 star rating because of Visual Composer.

And a 1 star rating because of Lorem Ipsum.

Not many agree, but you might be interested in this. Since then, Collis has also mentioned author-issued refunds in a blog post. So at least there’s hope to not be harassed by buyers just looking for refunds.

kaptinlin also brought up some interesting ideas. Great perspective from an author suffering from the issue even after 4 years on the marketplace.

Not the best idea. They already downloaded the product and already shared months of our hardwork with all their relatives and cousins.

End result:

1- They have our hardWork , they downloaded it.
2- And plus they have a refund too. So they have our product for free.

Imagine this, reviews public and the ability to reply and ask him what is the peoblem as you are gladly to help him. That would solve any problem, both of the buyer and author.

Im sure the rating/reviews system will be upgraded soon, it’s just a matter of time.

Today, I got 1 star rating from a guy after answered everything from him through email and skype.

WTF, he gave 1 star because I didn’t make the customization and Support for his plugin (he installed that plugin on wordpress.org)

A bad day.

That’s one of the reasons I would never agree with the mandatory support envato are planning. With my own terms such guys have just lost ANY rights to receive support for ANY of my themes. I am always informing them about this and advice them NEVER buy my theme again OR God help them if they get into trouble.

And I’ll keep that right ANYWAY!

Envato must do something with this system, it is getting more and more frustrating. I’m really tired with those, 1 star for not helping me with the customization. How long should we put up with this?
