I know I know,
we’ve discussed about this many times.
But we need to find a solution, at least a way to give buyes a way to correct their unwanted ratings.
I’ve just got 1 star from a buyer that wanted to give 5* and another buyer for mistake clicked on the 4th, also if he wanted to give 5 stars.
How it is now, it’s enough to move the mouse on the stars to risk to rate the file not as the buyer wants…
Then we complain about the rating system and why buyers don’t rate… probably everything isn’t really user friendly for them.
Maybe a drop down selection and a rate button would save us from unwanted bad ratings.

There should be a popup saying:
You are about to rate this item X star. This is permanent and cannot be changed. Are you sure you want to do so?
I think thats all thats required here.
The buyer that voted 1 star by mistake has said that she tought that she had to click on each star to fill the rating and also said that isn’t very clear how it works.
Before to put the number of ratings under the stars and then remove it because looks bad, the staff should focus on the most important aspects of the rating system, not the useless ones.
Sorry to say this envato staff.
If there was a ‘+1’ Button I would click it right away
before to give us first class tickets to the envato hq, give us a first class rating system. Hope you are hearing…
Collis, so, can we have a first class rating system?
I’ve had this. my customer submitted 1 star by mistake. and the customer was really upset for 1 star by mistake. and there was no solution. the file did not deserve it
