Another overlooked point is comments for the item. Many times users will put,...

” great product, fantastic service awesome blah blah blah..”

So why not for the “author” allow them to click a button to PROMOTE this comment to feedback / testimonials section ? Plus those users never actually rate the item, thy prefer to leave written feedback thru the course of , buy..fiddle…ask…getanswer…feel great

All the framework is already there.

Just an idea.

Great thread and screenshot but I’m becoming quite sceptical of the guys in charge ever truly fixing this site. It’s making money and that seems to be good enough :(

Curious thread from someone who has never bought a file here.
I guess you are an author and don’t want to “show your face”. Legit enough, just wanted to point out the bit surrealism of the proposal under this account. Please, don’t get me wrong. ;)

Hello! Great topic!

I think it is high time to make some positive changes:   rating system for each site must be adapted to the tasks of this site ..

For example: when a customer buys the pictures, he sees, that buys … this also applies to music … He hears that takes .. And what prevents to evaluate the purchase of a 5 stars?

I think all this should be considered when developing a new rating system … This topic has been discussed many times on different forums …

Thank you!

I think ratings are overrated.

I’d remove them alltogether, they’re too easy abused by jumpy buyers and unfair authors.

I don’t have that “Ratings” menu option in my items. I assume that’s just for elite authors?
