Awesome, can’t wait for the upgrade. Nice that they’ve merged Reason and Record. Though it integrated flawlessly, it’s probably easier to develop/maintain for them. Freeing more time to focus on what they do best,. Creating kick-ass software.

Am I to understand that Reason is now part of Record? If the Reason rack can’t run separate from Record, then I think that is a bad idea. What if I want to run the Reason rack in Pro Tools or logic using re-wire?

I love Reason, and I would love to work solely in Record, but I feel Reasons 1 big fall back is the quality of string and orchestral patches. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction to high quality orchestral samples for Reason. Im talking East west, Vienna type samples. Because to me, at least, Orkester doesn’t cut it.
