Owners of both Reason and Record can pay what you want to upgrade to Reason 6 (pay anything you want, *Anything you want, as long as anything is at least $1.00/€1.00.)

That’s pretty awesome! I don’t own Reason or Record but the idea of paying anything you want for an upgrade is very cool!

The question is what would you pay? It would be tempting to pay $1, but that doesn’t feel right, maybe I should pay around $40-$60?
Reason is great I love both R5 and RRecord however I will be honest that when it comes to recording vocals I do like ProTools more because of the loads of plugins but RRecord just makes the whole process smoother.
For an upgrade from 5 to 6, I’d say $89.99 or something around that area would be nice. Over 100 dollars and I’d have to think a little bit harder. Upgrades should be cheap IMO , any upgrade for anything over 200 bucks is ridiculous, unless the upgrade is jumping ahead by Miles instead of a few hundred feet (figuratively).
Very cool info indeed.
