So I have a few downloads, and see that some are removed. Before I never really bothered about it, but now I’m just curious. What are some reasons and the main reason a file is removed? Is it because it was copied or stolen?

Not long ago, all files that were not compatible with the latest versions of WordPress were removed, so that’s one possibility.
