Hi there all,
Recently, I was thinking about re-branding my freelancing company. But, I have no idea where to start. I will be changing all me accounts (e.g. AD) and also be creating a website: company.com
How did all of you think of your name and get inspiration?
Regards
Think of your objectives when rebranding, analyze the current brand and see if there are any issues that could prohibit brand recognition, distinction and so on.
It’s time that people realize that design and branding do not have their foundations in people “just thinking up names or playing with graphics software”. It’s a quasi scientific process. Design in itself isn’t “being creative”.
I’m not trying to roast you or anything, just pointing out a general distinction between the “professionals” (think big studios and so on, myself not included) and the hobbyists.

What do you think of the name : ‘tropicaPIXEL’
I have no idea – just an option!

Another idea is ‘Pixel Parrot’
Well I have no idea what to associate them with. I wouldn’t brand a product in that way, a business, sure.
I’d go with pixel parrot because of the alliteration.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m still not sure about the whole things – if it’s even worth it so I may hold off for a bit.
