recently I’ve been uploading files via ftp (as I always have done) and they keep finishing upload – then vanishing.

I uploaded a bundle the other day which kept not showing up. All ftp transfers to my personal websites are working & I have always uploaded my items via ftp.

I uploaded 3 files last night, now, it tells me only one is there and it was uploaded 1minute ago.

Anyone know how i can fix this?

Try clearing the cache of your current browser or try another browser just in case. :)

Sorry pal, my bad, didn’t explain very well.

What I mean is the files also vanish in Filezilla.

I’ve just uploaded the preview images again and submitted the file – it worked. But it seems if I upload a file, leave it for an hour or something, when I come back it seems to be gone

:/

I’m getting “Whoops, something broke!” when trying to update a theme of mine – guess something’s being worked on.

Ah right, I’m pretty sure that files uploaded do indeed get deleted after a certain amount of time if they are not submitted as a file or at least they use to. A good reason to make sure the rest of the upload form is prepared and then upload the files eh ? :P

Ahar, maybe that would be the problem, do you know how long is the time limit?

Not too sure, Estimate half hour – 1 hour I would think? I wasn’t even sure it still happened but it looks to be the case it does. I remember there was a topic on it a few years ago but i wouldn’t be able to find it now! Perhaps a dev / staff member will be able to clarify if it still happens and if so how long. :)

Very confusing.

It’s strange how the product images vanished but the big .zip file didn’t though!

Hopefully like you say a dev will throw a comment in :D

There is time limit indeed, but it’s a few days if I’m not mistaken.

What you’re experiencing should not happen… Btw, I am also having some problems with ftp upload (although different than yours), and still don’t know if they’re caused by my lousy Internet connection, or by Envato’s servers.
