Just a random suggestion – probably will have a flaw..
What about making it so you can earn affiliate money from referring flashden publishers? I know many people that I could refer with that…

if that kind of referral fee system was set up, do you know how many authors would have pseudonyms/aliases??

who knows, my guess though..

Yeah but, if I were to click my own referral link, sign up under a different name (as an author), wouldn’t I have to sell or deposit money in order to get a “commission” off of it? If so, you have have to spend more than you would make off of it. Then your just losing money… I don’t think FD would ever let someone get paid off of an author who simply just, “signed up”. If you ask me, FD should raise their commissions again. It’s the authors who make FD a workable idea. We should be getting at least 50% of each sale.

I agree too because are some new websites which are giving higher percentage to authors on each sale and I see some authors from flashden are joining on those websites very quickly.
I have just one file on another website and I am getting 70% on each sale for that file.

50%? sounds good…
ok.. no more files from me until that is changed
I have to agree with you guys… FD is ripping us off. I think 50/50 would be fair.

say with reason.
In my view it is the author who puts a lot of days in making a good quality file and this is author who provides support for his files so 25% for non E-Authors and 35% for E-Author is not fair.

Well, I am at 50% now, and been there for some time now.

I am glad I helped FlashDen grow while I was growing as an author as well. I am sure with good files this is not a limit to most of you guys – I’ve seen amazing files being built!
On the other side, flashjunkie you are my example in what I want to achieve regarding referrals!
I am so bad in that area, hehe
