There is a huge glitch in the referral system. For example if a user has visited the marketplaces in the past (only visited, not registered or whatsoever) and you are referring him back after three months, he will not be your referral even if you brought him back to the marketplaces. I’ve made a video demonstrating this issue a few months ago but everyone ignored me.

How do you get such high referral numbers. Last month i got 35 with 0 registered members!

I am doing something wrong or simply not doing anything

it’s actually not a glitch – it’s how they want it to work for this exact reason.

it’s actually not a glitch – it’s how they want it to work for this exact reason.

The key point here I thought was 3 months ( 100 days ) ie. the cookie stored by envato ( via first hit ) would be wiped. This returning user via referral would count as a new introduction thus would fire a referral fee

for my part, look:

August 2013 11189 Clickthroughs 211 Registered Members 149 Deposits $746.70

September 2013 16319 Clickthroughs 199 Registered Members 138 Deposits $604.80

October 2013 8455 Clickthroughs 91 Registered Members 71 Deposits $330.90

normally i have approx 6-8k clickthroughs, i made some experimental websites, which only generates clickthroughs, but no referrals
