hello everyone, I wanted to start practicing making a simple wordpress theme to get started, many people think that jumping straight into it is better rather than making html/css version first then implementing wordpress tags into it.
I wanted your opinions which should be better and faster?

I personally find it much easier to make a static XHTML version of the template first, then move it into WP

thanks, I suspected that would be easier
yeah definitely start with XHTML /CSS, and validate it. Then when you start the wordpress part, you can debug much easier. Best Regards
