Creating a WP plugin and works fine, except none of the static pages work (blank pages) and worked out it’s to do with the following code:

function include_template_files() {
 global $wp;
 $plugindir = dirname( __FILE__ );

 if(is_post_type_archive('ghreviews')) {
  $templatefilename = 'reviews.php';
  $template = $plugindir . '/theme_files/' . $templatefilename;
  return $template;
 }
 if(is_singular('ghreviews')) {
  $templatefilename = 'single-ghreviews.php';
  $template = $plugindir . '/theme_files/' . $templatefilename;
  return $template;
 }
 if(is_tax('genre') || is_tax('platform')) {
  $templatefilename = 'tax-ghreviews.php';
  $template = $plugindir . '/theme_files/' . $templatefilename;
  return $template;
 }
}
add_filter( 'template_include', 'include_template_files' );

Disable the plugin / remove that code and the static pages work fine, am I missing something in that code?
