Rejected Theme - Please advice

Hi everyone,

Please review my theme: poliso.orgfree.com/UPcoming/

Please let me know what you think about it. The reviewer said “The overall quality of your submission does not meet our aesthetic and technical requirements”

Your advice is really appreciated. Thanks.  

i am not really professional but what i see so far with your template is;

use a more serious looking font, change twit background to the same as counter numbers background

change that blackboard looking background to a plain gradient background under “what to expect”

take notify me (stay updated) column to the center and take location to the right

and use image instead of ” | ” as a seperator at the bottom links and make those links a bit more visible

and improve the text contrast

but then again, i am not a professional

catch a harmony with a same background to the 3 boxes and the main background where it is pure white instead of using box shadow, leave it plain and use the same background as the other elements, make it look like the counter and twit background, bring harmony by doing it and use another font from google fonts and make sure your using sans serif not sans fonts and use a better seperator with a bit unique style between the boxes instead of a plain vertical line, i am sorry i ve said to much but trying to be fair

I have made the changes on the improved version. Any other feedback is welcome. By the way what does “minimum technical quality requirements for the category it was submitted to” as a reason for rejection mean? Please help.

A lot need to improve on this design, best is to do a lot more research on themeforest library on similar items and identify their unique characters and start over with a fresh design.

- More organized layout - font - line spacing - shadows - follow 960 grid system

Make sure to do some research on popular items on the theme forest library.
