Rejection! Please help!

After having my first theme rejected I decided to take a break from it and make another. Now that has been rejected too with the standard rejection message! Significant improvements etc etc.

I am determined to get a theme on here and I felt that this design was much better than my last one but obviously kailoon didn’t think so.

What do you think I can do to improve it?

I’m thinking maybe I need to add more to the front page, like maybe another widgets section just above the recent post slider?

Definitely better than the Skyscraper! But it might be the good old slider + 3 columns issue everyone suffers from these days.

That is not really a very helpful comment how do you think it could be improved? Do you not like the hover, the border, the background or what?

Your opinion is appreciated but that was very vague and doesn’t really help me.

The footer background looks bad, the image looks really low quality or something, just doesnt look nice. Maybe just keep it a plain colour or a faint noise to it.

Any more suggestions guys? Or basically just add some more layout options to the front page, change the footer bg a bit, and try and make the menu look better.

How close do you think I am with this theme? I was hoping that I might at least get the next rejection letter up where the reviewer actually tells you what to improve haha
