No, he just blocked Flash. Kill was done by Adobe by not pouring enough water to Flash in gradual intervals. Considering the fact that iPhone lived comfortably for 3 years without Flash (before iPad release) and Player 10 had significant performance improvements just after iPad release (urgently), it is apparent that Adobe is too much careless on improvements (they don’t improve by own hands, they always needed external push). Adobe missed the timing and also enjoyed the benefit of SJ taking the bad credits of Flash kill. Now Adobe is safe from Flash developer’s complaints.

Well, we’ll see if Apple really does remember Steve – as if the iPad mini rumours are correct, that would directly go against one of his fundamental beliefs. Also – iPhone 5? With iOS 6 and the A6 chip, it is the SIXTH gen iPhone – that would never have happened under Steve’s watch!

I know it’s not his but that’s the closing comments and what he wants you to take away from that speech so I think it’s fine to “title” the video as that… anyone who watches will understand it’s not his quote.

With sayings or quotes like that, a major part of the value is from context. It was used quite well on the Whole Earth catalog, and was used very strongly by Steve at the end of the Stanford address. It’s much more about the message and context than the words an sich.
