It was surely added under his portfolio, the Providence PSD… he probably sold the rights, removed the file…but check the latest approved PSD as well..

I’m guessing they didn’t pick up on it because it was submitted under a different name. But based on my understanding of the submission rules, I agree that this is not allowed based on the information we have. Have you contacted support?

This is nonsense.

Since we can have unlimited accounts here on ThemeForest, this basically means that we can resubmit our own items countless times?

This morning, I’ve noted this in item comments section, but my comment was removed. After that, got pretty angry email from ‘the author’. :)

That’s disconcerting.

I’ll see if Travis can take a look at the situation.

I have sold the rights for this PSD, and I have contacted the support as well, about the sale.

Good, I do this too, but what’s the problem by keeping the psd under your account and uploading the html and wp under the buyer’s account? Re-submitting items is forbidden as far as I know, getting homepage exposure for the same item 2x times is not fair to the other authors and is against the rules, as far as I know.

I have no problem with that, the buyer’s wanted, so please ask him.

that’s the truth ;/

I can image now that everybody sells their templates/themes to “another” account just to get one more time exposure and so on..

Definitely it’s not fair …

Disclaimer: Will All Due Respect, Do not Take it Personal.

@All Thank you all for your time.

1- First and foremost, Envato is not owned by me. The same reviewers who review your items review my items too.

2- Its very amazing to see see this great community of Authors who are always appreciated for their kindness and “being good” to have such a narrow view points about a good item.

3- The irony is this, The item has not been sold even once since its new upload and there are talks of “un-fair” sales.

@FinalDestiny Thank you for bringing this to the Attention of the forum. I am sorry to see you are afraid. Please dont be, You should have shared the URL to my item which got approved, Its completely fine. We all should have the right to express our views.

@sevenspark Basically, Its not something done hidden here. When we bought the PSD rights and We uploaded the file for the first time, We mentioned in the notes section for the reviewer that we have bought the theme from this first Author through contract, so nothing is done here as a “Get Away”

@dekciw Nice to see you again Tom, I reported your comment and it was removed by the comment reviewer because the comment was “Spam”. So I do not have to proof it, you just proofed your own problem. And here is the Email You got from me in the morning.

“Tom,

Here is the process.

1- Envato does not belong to my dad.

2- The Theme was very newly uploaded by previous author like a 15 days ago or something.

3- I paid a lawyer to get a contract written.

4- The contract was signed by previous author and sent over to the “Envato Support” for record of rights transfer.

5- Thats the Story and please do not take it personal, I think everyone should mind their own business. Envato Reviewers are paid to what they do. I have 178 rejected items in just a few months and I have not made a single “WHY THE HELL MY ITEM WAS NOT APPROVED” comment on any fellow Envato Author.

Thank you.”

Item should get removed.

Rules are clear. Item removed from marketplace by author can’t be put back.

There’s a reason why this rule exist and should be respected.

If rules have changed then why we were not informed?

I will like to get a staff reply for this issue. The rules are the same or had been changed? If changed why we are not informed?

Thank You
