RESUME text is too bright and white…try to fix it… Awesome overall…
I personally feel that the overall design doesn’t stands out well.
This is for the second design. Alignment a bit off for most of the information. Headings like employment history and computer skills aren’t aligned center properly. Content under employment history also lean more towards the right. Icon and text under computer skills also isn’t align properly. Try centralizing them and spread them out evenly. References information also misaligned. Alignment of content is important as it plays a great role in balancing the entire design.
I will also suggest making all the header bold or uppercase as they don’t stands out well currently. Maybe you should remove the bold for the address and reduce its font size as its too prominent currently. Fix the resume color like canimalition suggested as well.
Just my 2c.

I like the Idea and the design, but I recommend You to make borders of the boxes thiner and lighter and the icons in Computer Skills are almost touching the border on the right side so You should scale it down and make more space.
I agree with what glennogh and survivor said.
Additionally I think that everything looks a bit cramped. Things are too close together, they have no room to breathe. When you align everything correct maybe also think about spacing things out a little, both whitespace between the different elements and also to the borders of the page.
Also I’m not sure what the icons at the top underneath the main header symbolise? what are the wremch and screwdriver for, do you fix computers? I’m not sure this is the right place to have icons.
At first sight it looks nice, but when you start looking closely I think there’s a lot of room for refinement.
1.) Change the font
2.) Give more space
3.) Try more color versions
typography needs a lot of work. Try something more main stream.
Also, the layout itself needs refinements, alignment is a bit wack in certain areas.
Lot of good comments and suggestions.
Thanks for the input, I have some work to do on this.
Appreciate all of your input!
