Yeah… I’d be really curious to see exactly how it’s done.
Of course, no outsider ever understands how much time goes into a very short video. This is just going to make it seem like what we do is even easier (not).
I think the technical side is pretty straightforwards isn’t it? Upload file to server, Flash reads in file and corner pins a sprite to pre-set coordinates.
Beyond that, it’s a nice idea with high production values for a viral.
Are virals finally pulling in some decent budgets?

hey that’s cool, works very well…. what’s impressive is the layering, eg in the wallet photo the uploaded picture appears behind the laminated plastic, and in the opening shot the woman’s hands appear over the photo as well… nicely done flash. ... these viral types of projects are great (there was one for the movie ‘the wedding chaser’? as well, which let you upload your photo, it was great, too)... thx for the link
