Some one bought your file and then got the refund, so they took the money back from you.

You should have received an email From Envato explaining the situation.

I’ve got one too just in the last few hours. The email showed up also:

We are writing to follow up on recent PayPal issue that affected your Marketplace account and the actions that we will take to resolve the matter. On 28th January 2013 Envato Marketplaces were affected by a PayPal problem. Between 17:00 and 19:00 AEST on 28th January 2013 all PayPal transactions were declined. You can read about this incident in more detail, including when it was resolved here: https://www.x.com/content/follow-major-impact-express-checkout-paypal-apis-virtual-terminal-and-website-payments-pro

Envato was eventually able to process the declined transactions successfully. We discovered at this point that a number of transactions were duplicated.

In the case of your account, you were credited with some incorrect duplicate sales for one or more items. You should be able to identify these duplications easily on your statement if you look at sales occurring around the time of the PayPal outage.

We have been advised by PayPal that the duplicate amounts have been reversed back to the buyer and as such, this same amount will be deducted from your earnings.

We will be processing this transaction in the next 3 days. You will see the adjusted balance on your statement

Thank you for your patience while we have worked on this. If you have any other questions please let us know.

Regards, Envato Marketplaces

I found the transaction. It’s and item that I hardly ever sell so the price was unfamiliar and an odd coincidence for it to be effected by this.

Thanks, Parallelus!

I think this is unfair for the authors.

So basically Envato delivered your file to the buyer, so the buyer got your file and and also got his money back. Now how is that author’s fault? This should be issue between the Envato and the PayPal, not between the Author and Envato.

If I’ve read what Parallelus said right, it says that buyers were charged TWICE for one file! Which unfair for the buyer, that means, author got 2 x purchase, buyer got 1 x license, Envato recredited the buyer, author got 1 x purchase, buyer got 1 x license. It’s actually quite fair!

My opinion as an author, not as an Envato representative! Just my two cents!

Hi, I’m not care the $26.04, I just want to talk about the truth. When we have a purchased, envato has got 30%-50% of the purchased. I think envato should be charged with the PayPal issue. Not deduct the money from our account.
