Why is it not fair? Buyer paid 2x, received one license, he got his money back for one purchase, that is quite ok for me. Why would you want money for something the user didn’t buy or didn’t receive?

I think it’s fair, we would do the same thing if we weren’t selling on envato but on our own.

@MattMao … You probably got 26+26 $ on a file purchased twice by mistake. Envato took back 26$. Not 40$, the entire cost. Just 26, your share for a single purchase.

Well it is fair. The customer made one purchase you got the money for one purchase.
There was a bug in the system, it happens. Authors didn’t do anything to deserve the money from the bug so i don’t see where to problem is, it’s just giving back money that’s not yours.

It is the truth!
Buyer paid DOUBLE the money for ONE theme! You got your commission, that means 26$ x 2, meaning 52$ , but the buyer only got ONE license! Envato returned 40$ to the buyer, but only took 26$ out of your account because that’s the percentage!

No, probably he won’t. They’re somehow cached, if he purchased the theme by the time he asked the question, yes, it will show up. But if he buys the theme, downloads it, gets a refund and then asks a question, he won’t have the badge anymore. So it all depends on the time when he asks the question, if he’s an active purchaser AT THAT SPECIFIC time, the badge will show up there.
