Hi, Seems review taking much time than before. For my last item it takes 5-6 days may be. And for new item submitted progress is very slow. Seems it also will take much time. If it will go like this then I think it will very hard to work. Because for a item 6 days to review if got any soft reject take another 3-4 days if if any minor issue then again 5-8 days. I don’t think its the best way for authors. I think its need a better way to make review. There marketplace is growing and if it will act like this then for a item we have to sleep for one month after submit it. Guys any advice for the system ?

Yeah same here it’s been 5-6 days….any one got longer than 1 week or lucky enough get approved less than 5 days?

We need a clarification from Staff here, is it true only Kailoon and Ivor work for all categories submission (heard from an author in other thread)? I can’t believe if that’s true. I can’t imagine how their work load. does not make any sense with how many new items submitted each day.

It has taken me over a month. Compounded by the review team reviewing old files multiple times. I haven’t had a review all week. The 2 reviews before that were of old files. All in all it’s been over 2 weeks since I have had the latest files actually reviewed. I’m at the point of forgetting ThemeForest and selling on wordpress.com and my own site.

I’ve only had Ivor or Kailoon – everytime Ivor reviews it he reviews old files.

If there are only the two resources, that would be disgraceful considering the revenue ThemeForest makes.

It is not because of two reviewers we had two reviewers all the time. Only few months ago we also had over 30-40 approved items daily now we have 5-6. That means review can be faster and slower. There were complains on forum about lot of items accepted every day now again complains. Personally I think this is testing and try to slow down number of accepted items because if items are accepted slower maybe authors will put more effort and work with more details before submit. Maybe they try to stop hiperproduction of new items.

Got 30% progress in 2 days. Can any one know what actually happening with review? Any new queue algorithm?

My last item got approved in 6-7 days. I don’t know if there’s any new algorithm or not. So maybe 7 days could be a standard review process time now. still 5 more days for you to wait i guess…you may take a break or start with a new template :)

Around 6 months ago my first two items were approved within 2-3 days. My latest item that’s currently in review took 6 days to get a response from the reviewers, where I needed to fix some small W3C validation issues. Since I resubmitted it the progress percentage has gone from around 60% to 47%, so it will probably take a few more days for them to review it again…
