What is the process to become a reviewer and what are the benefits, if any?
Thanks!

Good question! Basically the Site Manager (which is me, but not for much longer) puts out a call on the forums or occasionally just asks a particular member who seems to be around a lot.
It’s basically a freelance job, so we pay by the hour and reviewers check through items, answer a bit of support and are generally awesome
Currently Xdozex who is the video reviewer from FlashDen is reviewing our Site Templates, and Kai Loon is reviewing WordPress. I’d guess we’re going to need more reviewers in a few weeks time though! The site is slowly starting to ramp up, each week has a few more items in the queue than the last week.

Oooh same…

Reviewing is fun!
I feel like a lot more goes into the “reviewer” position in addition to actually approving files. You have to be on your game. But you also need to be an active member in the community.
Everyone on TF seems very cool…and if you look at FD all of the MANY reviewers were, for the most part, all authors first…so its a possibility for any of you. Just hang around, our “family” is tight…we all talk very often, and I’m very close with a lot of guys in the group…also Envato is a GREAT company to be working with! I wish I could work for Envato full time, and ditch my HORRIBLE job…I actually have to force myself to stay focused at work because I always find myself trying to review, moderate, hang out on the forums, and browse files while I’m at my 9 to 5.

Ya, being a reviewer here is fun! Thanks to Collis gave me such a good chance:)
@xdozex : Same here, my day job is s**k. I will prefer to go for fulltime with Envato. Everyday I just can’t wait to review some files right after work
I know it’s an old thread, but keep me in mind for reviewing Joonla and misc. I’d love to be a part of the team.
