Rollovers on Plugin Submissions

Hi, was just wondering, is there any reason the plugins dont have rollover images?

They are wp plugins. Only js scripts have roll over previews..

But I agree with you, wp plugins and php script should have big roll over previews too

I figured it must be policy of some kind, but couldn’t understand the reasoning :s (still can’t tbh ;)).

Puts the plugins at a disadvantage I think, because they are mingled in on the new items page with the other scripts it looks like the authors couldn’t be bothered to create em imo.

Yeah I think it is a bit odd. Even for php scripts/plugins you could add more textual details to an image representing the product then you could with just a text title. I think the images are a much more powerful, flexible and useful way to handle it for authors.

Hi, Just wondering if there is any news on this?

(I don’t mean to come across as pestering – just I think the large rollover would help sales, the other php scripts have it and us poor plugin authors are losing out )
