I am by no means a SEO specialist of any kind, however I have a question.
Right now on AudioJungle our main landing page title tag is “Royalty Free Stock Music & Stock Audio”.
For the purpose of this question, note that the word “stock” is used twice.
Using the Google keyword tool I compared three keyword phrases: “royalty free music”, “stock audio” and “stock music”

You can see from the picture there that “royalty free music” has around 165,000 global searches, “stock music” has about 60,500 and “stock audio” has about 18,100.
So based on the search volumes from the data, wouldn’t it make more sense to have the title keep “Royalty Free Music” together as the first phrase in that order and then “stock music and audio” afterwards in some manner – or something similar?
What I am trying to say is, we have the work “stock” twice in the title but “stock music” and “stock audio” combined don’t even make up the search volume for “royalty free music” Based on the keyword tool it would even be better to have the word “music” twice if anything.
Anyone understand what I am trying to say?

Totally agree, Tim!

You are right.
However there are more tricks there and they may try to attract more side traffic as the battle for “Royalty free music ” is really tough. There things as buying keywords and titles of the links to the site that may change results dramatically.
Also from my point of view the AJ is not the main market of Envato and the main number of sales here come from users of the other markets…. and just a small percents from google
You may watch the TRAX section as a sign as the items there are not intended for use by other marketplace members and the target group is much larger.
Absolutely right, Tim! Good advice! +1

Good catch, Tim.
Tim … I don’t think it will work. Don’t waste your key words. You see – that google stuff is when people searching for Royalty Free music thourgh google. When someone’s is on AJ he knows this is site with that kind of material – wan’t be looking for royalty free – rather some other keywords. The stuff you are talking about is if i.e. you’ve got 1000’s of sites and start linking to AJ with keyword “royalty free music” then yes – AJ site will go up in search results.
Regards – Matt.
