RSS Subscribers Counter

Hey guys,

I’m working on some wordpress thing, and I would really like to know how can I put on a Counter that counts the RSS Subscriber my site has?

I’ve seen a plugin by Mapelli, but it seems to be virused, any other solutions?

That will display your subscriber count without using a plugin. However, you have to make sure Curl is running on the host, and it assumes that you’re using FeedBurner for your RSS feed. I haven’t tried it myself, but assuming what you’re working on meets the two requirements (Curl and FeedBurner), it should work fine.

I haven’t seen any tutorials for this online based on RSS feeds that are automatically generated through WordPress (i.e., http://www.yourdomain.com/feed/), only for FeedBurner. (But converting to FeedBurner is extremely easy and most popular sites use it, so I’m not sure if that’s really an issue in most cases.)
