That our very own Community Ambassador Carmen, will run the 2011 Melbourne Marathon this upcoming Sunday, October 9th?

That’s right, this brave damsel is going to run 42 kilometres! Seriously, how many intelligent and hard-working ladies do you know, who can honestly say, “Hey, I’ve just ran a Marathon.”?
Preparation
Well, every triumph has its price and reason. Besides finding time to prepare, discipline and determination play an important role. Check out Carmen’s Blog, and see for yourself how and why this all started.
Motivation
As someone who also runs, I must admit that motivation is key. For this reason I’ve decided to create this thread and invite everyone to wish Carmen a great and memorable run! After all, she is part of this community, and so, in a way, will indeed be representing all of us.

I found her blog about a month ago (can’t remember how) and I was very impressed.
I actually decided to start cycling every morning, even in cold weather – for fun and transportation – and I do it now – part of my motivation was Carmen’s blog!
