Someone can see there is a new featured in the statement section called “Sale reversal”. It was surprise for me. A little bit confused.

or maybe I’m slowpoke and this option is always here.

Actually, Still confused :)

There was a forum thread from the staff recently. But I can’t find it now.

As they said, sale reversals have been around since the beginning, but until recently they (Envato) were paying all those fees. Now it’s bounced back to author whose files have been bought and then the purchase have been reversed.

It happened to me a few days ago, one of my sounds got a sale reversal. I really don’t understand it, as it was clearly something that could be heard prior to the purchase, plus it’s only $1 – why bother? :)

I got one a couple of days ago as well – it’s like anti-Christmas! I don’t know if these are all because of buyer’s remorse – it may be that a charge was rejected at the bank for NSF or some other thing. Cost of doing business, I guess, though I do appreciate that Envato was paying the authors anyway in these cases in the past.

This might be the thread you were thinking of…

Fair enough.

oh, One more thing…

on my dashboard in Fun Fact I read it: You’re ranked 2127th for sales on ActiveDen. LOL, I have no item on ActiveDen. But yeah, it’s pretty funny :D

You’re lucky if you don’t see it. It is not an option, it is just a statement and it will appear on your Statement page once a buyer demands his money back.

but how can one prove that the buyer did not use a track that back? may be the buyer wants to get their money back and use the track for free…

I would guess that if you don’t download it you can cancel the order. If you do though download the item then you cannot return it.
