Hello there!

Since my first submission had a constant (even low) amount of sales\month (3\4 per month). Am I the only one who see a big stop on selling since the vector prices rising? I’m happy that the vectors have been revalued, nothing to complain about, but I’m wondering if this raising could have discouraged some buyer. Obviously I’m considering the “not interesting items” options, and I’m doing some trend search to publish interesting packs, following the market.

Anyway, any feedback is welcome! Thanks guys!

Shinja

ps: awful english, I know. Sorry about that :P

I´m not sure if it´s just a seasonal thing… i guess that it will be a trend here… In my opinion it´s related to the number of marketplace members – I think More Members = Less individual sales because of the competition!!

Competition is good, if aimed to produce better submissions. I was a bit concerned beacause the sellings just stopped, nothing sold in a month. If this is caused by a necessary improvement of my submissions, in order to be competitive…well that’s good news!

I´n not saying that competition isn´t good… i just said that because the huge number of member (and all the consequent competition) all of us will have some consequences on month sales!!! Which is normal…

And I agree with you about competition :D What concernes me is the sudden stop, right after the vector price rasing, that’s all. We will see what future will bring :D

You won’t be able to tell really until you have a larger portfolio.

However the trend has been going down for most authors for the last few months.

More authors, more items, less sales for everyone. If you want to maintain your level of sales you need to keep submitting items. If you one to increase your level of sales you have to keep submitting like a madman :)

Cheers

Chris

Yes i am… I´m beeing part of the Envato Marketplace for almost 5 years… and for example, with almost the same portfolio items my sales were 200% up. In that time, probably the number of the members slightly reached the 300000/400000 members (Graphicriver Members). Now we have 2,820,565… LOL So i guess the problem was that!! :)

By i agree with you… now we have to be mad man and start uploading quality items like a crazy!!! hehehehe
