It seems March 11th update (of facebook tabs) should have some effect on sales this week (especially before wednesday).
May be some of the buyers on the hurry to add FB templates before 11th using FBML ?

It was! Because, they released IFrame version with too many restrictions and with bugs (otherwise, IFrame could be better). Anyway, from now we have only one option IFrame, so no comparisons!

Theorically, yes. You have some advanced config settings on Apps that could affect the perfomance if you are running heavy server side scripts on the app. But normally, anything will go. I hope the here-and-there bugs will be solved with the time.
