Hmm… considering the wind direction and force, atmospheric pressure and (insignificant detail) distance between Dallas and Perm, I’m afraid, it would not. :(

I don’t know… I’ve got some wind power behind my sneezes.

I don’t think it’s a bug in the system, just a high influx if customers at a given time. I’ve noticed that a lot of my sales tend to happen in clumps.

I do have a question though. Is there a way to know the specific time of purchase? I only see the date in my statement.

If you use something like iNvatoo on the iPhone, it gives you the sales time. I’m sure there will be similar ones for PC/Mac etc… I think there’s a list somewhere on Envato but I can’t find it right now as I’m away from my computer.

I’ve also noticed (rarely, sadly) an influx of sales in a short period of time. No reason though. Maybe the sales get held up if some maintenance is going on then come in thick and fast?

I use the excellent aEnvato on my Android devices and this shows the time of purchase for items – albeit in your local time, rather than Envato time, if that makes sense.

This happens on quite a regular basis.

Often, a buyer will come in thinking they will only buy one file, but then they might browse other parts of your portfolio and pick up a couple more as well. No different from impulse buying really.

In November 2011, someone purchased ALL my music packs within the space of about 30 minutes. I had 13 of them at the time. I highly doubt that it was a different customer for each one. It’s awesome when it happens, and I doubt it’s a bug in the system. We can get lucky sometimes with buyers that really like our work, and as a result they’ll pick up multiple items.

@AlumoAudio – thanks for the aEnvato app.

Honestly, if Envato could get a shopping cart together, they could really capitalize much better on impulse buying. It’s not difficult even right now, but they could make it even easier.

From your statement page you can download a CSV file which has the exact time of purchase in the first field.

Thanks! I’ve actually never done that. But now I’m glad I know.

So… Something strange happened.

I didn’t make a single sale over the last week. This is unusual. Stick with me.. I’m going somewhere with this. :)

Then, today, I get 5.

Was I very unlucky – then lucky?

Or was there a delay in notifying me of sales. My theory is that the 5 sales that showed up today were spread out through the week…

Has anyone else experienced this? One must admit that this is rather curious. :)

Thoughts?

I had just the same experience yesterday. Got no good answer, but must admit I had a strange feeling.
