Be cautious with some of these sites especially “unsplash” I can see at least a few images straight away which are definitely NOT free commercial use

Just as an example (there are several) the second down of the cow – belongs to an author on Flickr http://postimg.org/image/4usyzv70r/ as you can see “All rights reserved” i.e. not free for use .

I am not saying its the case with all of them but in less than 15 minutes just by clicking to authors links I found 5 that should not be described as do what you want with them. It is a nice site but there was a thread about it in the past that flagged a few of the images.

I didn’t know that :O Thanks for the warning. I don’t get the point of Unsplash if it doesn’t check those photo licenses appropriately.

Me neither – our art director looked a tit today and saw 3 images that belong to pros we work with and are definitely not free to use! The site links Creative commons BUT that actually even says you cannot waive right son stuff you don’t own.

If ever in doubt its always worth checking
