Honestly think the elite program just got worse, I mean what am I going to do with Envato Studio credit, a backpack, stickers I mean c’mon? We’re running a business here, really feel like there should be cash back awards, like the money spent on the ad campaigns (1k, 2k, etc…) that didn’t yield any measurable results unfortunately.

Would be a nice bonus for the ones of us working on the marketplaces full time.

TLDR: We need marketplace specific data than general ones. Because there are 8 marketplaces and we are authors; not staff.

Missed to read this long thread, so forgive me if this is a repetition:

Since Elite status is flatly derived from earnings, it doesn’t always attach qualitative meaning to the reward. I mean an Elite status is obvious term in ThemeForest as this can be reached in few months in TF. The author can be someone very unfamiliar with whole community here but can achieve this level in couple of months too. (Earnings are always respectable since it happened due to authors skill sets on a specific industry- but that’s different case)

However, in GraphicRiver and other marketplaces, reaching the same earning level are much special case. And also requires lengthy time and consistency as an author here. Also depends on how efficient Envato is for that particular industry. (Who knows? the graph showed in the original post could specifically represent a graph of Wordpress/Theme industry itself)

So whenever Envato wants to share the data about Elites, it would be relevant, useful and inspire only when the data is marketplace specific. Otherwise a GR author can never understand about how efficient GR is; and vice verse.

Little bit surprised and depressed that staffs see authors through the general view of “Envato” but never see as “ThemeForest author”, “GraphicRiver author”. This is why we miss the idea of “ThemeForest Elite”, “GraphicRiver Elite” and “AudioJungle Elite”. They are very different in their milestones even with same amount of earning! :)

That’s true there should be different reward systems for each marketplace, it would give more incentive to climb the ladder. But honestly I think we should realize this by now they’re not going to make it the way it should be. I think VF after the last home page change we should accept this, and just be a casual observer.

Don’t get me wrong but after 1 million dollar level, every reward looks cheap except for flying to space thing (we are at least 5-10 years away from that level).

Branding at 2million dollars? I think someone who have made 1.5 million dollars out of Envato would had this done by now.

I mean buy an “Envato Apple MacBook” after 5 million dollars? Come ‘on, make it a Mac Pro with Thunderbolt display.

10 & 20 million levels are cool.

However, these are all stuff that can be bought with money. Elite should be more than that.

IMHO, Power Elites should get priority support and should move to the top of the review queue. It would suck to wait 5 days for soft-rejection just to get another one after selling $1 million dollars.

I think that would definitely feel special.

They say MacBook not Pro and Pro is $1999. Please research before saying anything. And $2 million sales means envato made $600k + from that author. So $2k means nothing to me as a reward.

Top of the review queue? I think any genuine ‘elite’ authors should bypass the review queue altogether.

They have enough experience in creating themes not to need reviewing. They know the requirements and they know what their buyers want.
