Hello there people…
I’m looking forward to publish my first PSD web template. I have seen many different widths in preview images, so if anybody can tell my what is maximum allowed width…
You can provide additional preview images. They must be JPGs no larger than 900×900px, and named in the order that you want them to appear using the following format: 01_preview1.jpg, 02_preview2.jpg, 03_closeup.jpg. Create a .zip folder containing your additional preview images.
But I think you can use any size, just try to keep filesize within reasonable limits.
Yes you can use any size. 1200px, 1600px will do the trick. Or you can alternate them. If you have a page that needs a bigger width, you can try also 1920px… any other resolution bigger than that i think is unnecessary.
Thanks for fast answers, will go with 1600px I guess
I can’t link it to you but i think i saw somewhere in the envato’s support about preview images and there the ( strongly ) recommended was 1200px width for templates and unlimited height.
That will depend on you how your site to be shown online, but for working on themes, that is a different story. You have to work on the right specifications. ![]()
