Search Engine Upgrade - ETA?

Just wondering if we can get another update from Collis or someone else about what is happening at Envato in terms of the big ticket upgrades that were spoken of over 6 months ago in an ‘update’ thread.

Im sure in the last thread way back then it was said that the search engine major overhaul was going to take place within 6 months, but we haven’t seen it yet.

Any chance of an updated ETA on this and other major upgrades going on from management?

Sorry if this has already happened and I’ve missed it (been moving interstate, wow is that time consuming!)

Currently 3docean is running on the new search engine, and we’re starting to work our way through the other sites.

I haven’t got an ETA for when it’ll all be done. Not surprisingly, we have a lot of competing priorities! We are working on it though.

In terms of ‘competing priorities’ that you mention, that was why I was thinking it was time for another update from HQ to tell us what exactly the top priorities are at the moment and what sort of eta’s we can expect on some of these big items that will have a direct impact on sales/productivity.

It just helps us feel like we are in the loop and all working together. Cheers.
