I think it would be helpful to have a search input in the comments section, since a lot of customers ask the same question over and over again specially when the plugin have lots of pages.

This will help customers to search for people in the comments section that had the same issues or concerns in the past and they will not have to wait until the author replies back.

what do you think?

So sort of like the “find” feature but for the whole comment list? Seems like it could come in handy, but i’m not sure where it would fall on the priority list for AJ.

Yes something like this:

Just like the one we have here on the forums

It would be really helpful for CodeCanyon and Themeforest.

Ha nice little mock up. Yeah especially for CC and TF. I’ve actually thought this feature would be helpful for forums too. Instead of a search that works only on forum titles, what about one that works on all posts? That way an entire phrase or series of key words could help you find a particular post. I know i’ve tried to sift through the 100 pages in search of a single post, but to no avail. Just another thought!

Totally agree. If I remember it correctly, this feature has been suggested and discussed many times but not sure what’s the status now. :|

Hi folks, this is definitely something we want to add. It’s long overdue, would love to have done it as part of the comment dashboard we just launched (or even in earlier comment projects) but right now there’s no simple path to add this immediately.

There’s an incredibly important search consolidation project underway to sort-out our search back-end so that new search features and fixes aren’t such a drag. We need to focus there for now, rather than duplicating and complicating the work.
