Perhaps someone can enlighten me a bit about how the search function works on this site. I typed in “Portfolio Website” (with no quotes) in to the search field and my item titled “Portfolio Website” is listed on the 4th page of the search.

I would think that it would be the first item shown since the title of the item matches the query exactly. Actually 3 of my other items I’m selling showed up on pages before this item. Weird. I have a good set of keywords in my tags field for the item. I even put “portfolio website” in the tags. Still nothing…

So what’s up?

that might be due to the fact that the search function is using keywords and in our files’ keywords section we put keywords which are even not related to a particular file. For example if i upload a flash form and i put in the keywords section: portfolio, fullscreen, xml driven

then of course the search will perform in a weird way.

SaafiDesign, I knew about the keyword thing, but I even tried putting “portfolio website” in my keywords and it still showed up on the 4th page of the search.
