Hi everyone, would it be a good idea to setup a secondary profile on AJ to upload only my SFX and keep my initial profile only music oriented?

Would envato allow me to run 2 AJ accounts with slight different profile names, under same surname and email?

Cheers!

Don’t quote me on this but I don’t see why not. I’ve noticed several authors have an exclusive and non-exclusive account with very similar names. I’m sure boomopera_sfx would be fine.

There’s only one way to find out.

I think its a good idea to keep them separate, sound fx guys usually get a huge portfolio of sound fx and customers looking for music might get tired real fast of going through pages looking for music tracks mixed throughout your fx. Keep the same name if possible, or just add or change one letter.

I’m starting to think I should do this too. I know I’m planning on producing a lot of FX. Can I get support to migrate the files I have now that are SFX to my new acct.?

So now that I have a second profile…what has to be done to have my other portfolios listed neatly on the right? Like so..

Don’t think you can – you’ll have to link from your profile page.

Why not put FX in to FX folder just separate them and build up a name for your self instead of making lotsa profiles imho.

I guess I’‘m a little late to give advice (cause you already open on fx account), but like Kurlykovs said just, make a sound fx section in your public collections using same username so all your FX are in one place like so: http://audiojungle.net/user/AllenGrey/bookmarks 8-)
